Euro Grade 5

The Euro Grade 5 is an insurance-approved security safe, certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 5, for banks, cash centres and jewellers holding substantial values on site. Three sizes hold 180, 240 and 300 litres, in cabinets 1080 to 1680 mm high on a constant 690 by 660 mm footprint.

Certified Grade 5 burglary protection

Every Euro Grade 5 is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 and certified by SBSC in Sweden and ECB•S in Germany, rather than rated by the company that built it. Grade 5 sits near the top of the European safe standard, and is the level at which a safe is expected to hold out against a prolonged attack with specialist cutting equipment. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your Euro Grade 5

All three sizes share the same width and depth and differ only in height, so a larger model takes the same floor area and simply stands taller. Weight is the real constraint at this grade: check the delivery route and the floor loading as well as the space. Each safe is opened by a double key lock on the four-eyes principle together with a mechanical combination lock, so no single person can open it alone. Finished in White RAL 9010, with floor anchor points for bolting down. Where more resistance is required, the Euro Grade 6 and Grade 7 ranges offer the same three capacities.
